About Us

We are business entrepreneurs with about 5 years of experience with our very own dynamic growing business. I came from a blue collar background with construction and petrochemicals experience and also a little bit of management experience in the food service industry. My wife Sara has spent the majority of her working life in the medical industry in management. When we began our own business, we learned early on that networking is the key to getting the word out about who we are, what we do and how we can help others improve and grow their businesses. To do so, we joined local groups like chambers of commerce, Toastmasters, BNI (Business Network International) and took positions on local committees like the Business Development Committee within one of the chambers, the Ambassadors Committee on another chamber, Women's Council of Realtors, American Business Womens Association, and volunteered for many service positions in local events like the Balloonar Festival, Wine Tasting Festival, Crawfish Festival, and countless business expos in the local area. We knew we were reaching one of our goals when we heard people say over and over, "We see you guys everywhere!" Then, as now, our business was relationship building through personal greeting cards. Through practice and education our networking skills became better. We narrowed our networking groups from 10-12 to 2-3 that best met our networking objectives. We focused on helping and valuing others. We have truly learned the do's and don't's of business networking and have formed lasting relationships with hundreds of people in our local community and across the nation. It has been a profitable and rewarding ride for us, to say the least. That's why we set up this blog — to help you. We believe networking is fun because people are fun. Networking is just a way to meet and develop relationships with more people. We use a relationship building system to show people we care, to recognize their birthdays and even to help them with their networking. Networking is responsible for the majority of our business clients. We bet it accounts for a large portion of your clients as well, or you would like it to. Our best advice is to have fun with networking. Enjoy the people you meet, enjoy the relationships you develop and laugh yourself to success. Now we want to pass on what we've learned to you folks who want to learn the foundation of growing a business in a way that lasts and is not affected by the ups and downs of the economy. More importantly, we want to show you how to form lasting and meaningful relationships in your life that will be more fulfilling and profitable than anything else that you do. socstarsbetter To your business success!
